Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

  seconds through Monday morning.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...First Ebb...Ebb current of 5.44 kt at 751
  AM Sunday. Seas 6 to 7 ft. Second Ebb...Ebb current of 2.4 kt
  at 830 PM Sunday. Seas 8 ft. Third Ebb...Ebb current of 5.11
  kt at 841 AM Monday. Seas 6 to 7 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
